Every June, B2B Marketing holds their key B2B industry event, Ignite London, at the Business Design Centre in Islington. However, when the COVID-19 crisis hit, they had to pivot to a Hopin digital event… but B2B Marketing was determined to deliver the same great event to attendees through the web.
Vismedia was tasked to create an exceptional piece of interactive and immersive content for the event’s marketing campaign. It needed to create a real sense of destination for the event and assist to make sure attendance objectives were met.
Interactive and immersive 360° space.
A 360° computer-generated facsimile of the Business Design Centre acted as a hub for video content, podcasts and blogs. It doubled as a way to deliver additional value to sponsors who were able to have booths inside the 360° experience holding video content during the event build-up.
Due to the COVID situation, the Vismedia team suddenly found themselves scattered across Europe and unable to work together in one space. However, this challenge was tackled head-on and overcome through belief in the project and its importance to the communities it served.
Ramping up to the launch of Ignite London, 64% of all experience visitors in the experience interacted with the environment to explore content, play videos and more. Over an astounding 50% of users who interacted with the experience booked tickets to the digital Ignite London event, which achieved its greatest ever attendance.
