Making Sense Of Sugar



The Making Sense of Sugar campaign aimed to explain the fact that the body needs sugars to function but to highlight the different types of sugar you get in your diet and where those sugars come from.

We decided to utilise a blend of real photography along side hand-drawn items that were presented on food plates. This enabled us to distill some quite complex information in a whimsical engaging way.

The animation was effectively the home page of the Making Sense of Sugar campaign and the main focus of the social media activity around it. It was so successful that we were commissioned shortly afterward to make the second animation in the same style.
